No Hourly Billing
Baker Holtz is unique – we don’t track and bill the time spent serving our clients. Through constant communication with our clients, we work to discover their objectives and discuss the value of our services with them. This mindset allows our associates to eliminate the stress that comes with timesheets and focus instead on meeting the needs of our clients.

Continual Professional Development
Our Associate Development Program aligns your personal goals with the firm’s strategic plan. Associates at Baker Holtz have opportunities for Continuing Professional Education that allows our firm to stay on the leading edge of technical expertise.

Tax & Accounting Intern

The Intern will work in the areas of accounting and tax.  The Intern would typically work with a Senior or Manager. Learn more about this position and how to apply on our handshake page here:

Associate

The right team-member will have 1-3 years’ experience in public accounting, along with the following skills and experience:

• CPA or actively pursuing completion of CPA licensing
• Preparation of financial statements with disclosures
• Preparation of individual and corporate tax returns
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, set clear goals and meet deadlines
• Motivated to establish strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Involvement in networking and business development activities
• Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a major in accounting and 150 credits

Seasonal Tax Preparer

The Seasonal Tax Preparer will prepare individual tax returns, prepare real estate LLC and basic corporate returns, and perform basic tax research.  The right candidate will have the following skills and experience:
 
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• A demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet defined goals under tight deadlines
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• A passion for providing outstanding client service
• Positive attitude along with a willingness to lean and improve workflow processes
• Ability to quickly learn tax software applications
 
Flexible schedule up to 40 hours per week beginning Jan 13 – April 15.
