Hannah Knott – Staff Spotlight

We are excited to feature our associate, Hannah Knott in our Staff Spotlight! Hannah joined Baker Holtz full time in January 2021 following an extended internship with the firm.

Hannah is from the Cutlerville and Wayland area and attended South Christian High School. She went on to attend Grand Valley State University and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in April 2020. Currently, Hannah is working toward becoming a CPA and has passed one of the four exams.

In December 2020, Hannah married husband, Ian. They have two huskies, Captain and Napoleon, and a cat named Eleanor. She and Ian are currently taking care of their friend’s dog, Izzy, and have really enjoyed having her around.

Hannah enjoys spending time with her two nieces and her nephew, and is excited that more babies are on the way! She also spends time with children outside of her family as a skating coach. She coaches a “Learn to Skate” class to children ages three to six at South Side Ice Arena each Saturday morning. She loves watching them use their imaginations and be carefree kids! During the summer, Hannah stays active by playing slow pitch softball a few nights a week.

According to Hannah, the best part of working at Baker Holtz is the team aspect. While everyone is expected to carry their own weight, it is great to be surrounded by people who are willing to help and teach when challenges arise.
