Seth Hanenburg - Accounting Manager, CPA

Seth joined the Baker Holtz team in June of 2015. Previously, he interned with two other accounting firms in the West Michigan area and participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Seth’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting (2014) and a Master’s of Business Administration in Accounting (2015) from Davenport University. He also received his CPA license in August 2020.

During his free time, Seth enjoys staying active by playing slow-pitch softball, basketball, and flag football, exercising at the gym, and when the weather permits, water sports on the lake. Family is very important to him and he loves to spend quality time with them whether it is chatting over a good meal, playing card/board games, watching a movie or sports event on TV, going on vacations, etc. In October 2020, Seth and his wife, Jenn, welcomed their first son, Dawson, and they currently have another baby boy on the way arriving in June 2022. They also have two dogs, Lacie and Paisley, who bring their family so much joy.

Seth’s favorite part of working with the Baker Holtz team is the relationships he’s built with coworkers, clients, and other professionals in the community. He feels blessed to be a part of a great team where he can continue to grow professionally and provide high quality value to his clients.
