When it comes to the art of juggling many hats here at Baker Holtz, there is no one who does it better than our one and only firm administrator. Whether we’re planning an extravagant charity golf outing, a social outing with staff, or need help with office IT issues, office bills, or anything in between – Tiffany does it all! She’s the mastermind behind all of our big events, but also the butter that keeps our wheels turning in the office day to day! On this month’s “Staff Spotlight” we introduce, Tiffany Taft!
When you think of the title “firm administrator”, the tasks that come to mind typically include things such as operations, HR, accounting, IT, facility management, training, supplies and anything else that falls under essential to keeping our office running smoothly. While Tiffany does handle all of these things in our office as well, she also does so much more! She is responsible for the planning and organization of all of our major social events. If you’re familiar with Baker Holtz, you know this is no easy feat! Our firm administrator is the planner behind our annual charity golf outing, our staff summer outing, all of our client appreciation events, and our tax day celebrations! She is also there to assist each member of our staff with whatever issues that may arise day to day. She is truly is our master-juggler!
When Tiffany isn’t practicing her juggling skills at our office, she enjoys time with her family above anything else. No matter how chaotic it may get, she is the happiest when she’s surrounded by her large and often loud, family. With 5 siblings, their spouses, and their kids, things may get a little crazy, but she has no trouble making herself heard! Tiffany also loves obstacle course racing including mud runs, warrior dashes, and spartan races. She loves the physical challenge it puts on her body. She admits that she may not be fast, (comparing herself to a turtle in peanut butter), but she loves the challenge!
Although, our talented firm administrator didn’t always see herself on this career path. Growing up, she wanted to be a teacher. She’s always enjoyed helping others, overseeing processes, and getting everyone from point A to point B. But she believes that all of her previous positions from fast food, retail sales, to corporate trainer, have all helped bring her to the position she’s in today.
Her position here at Baker Holtz has allowed those same skills she was passionate about while growing up to become a part of her everyday life. Her focus on helping others truly benefits each and every one of us at Baker Holtz! Without Tiffany, our office would look, feel, and operate at a different rhythm.
